Summer Fashion Trends for 2012

It is time to throw your chunky knits to the back of your wardrobe and invest in some summer friendly attire for the upcoming season. London Fashion Week has shown a lot of potential for spring-summer fashion with designer clothing. From boyfriend cuts with added femininity to clashed prints - this summer's fashion is bound to be exciting and colourful.

Style is ever-changing and with designer clothing being so versatile - is the term fashionable too ambiguous? Whether you are more of a 'dare to be different' girl or more of a laid back 'tomboy' there is undoubtedly trends for everyone. Although it was a proverbial fact that the initial influences of what defines fashion came from the designers, now it is a lot more about street style. Nevertheless, designers have created a remarkable variety of attire set for spring-summer 2012 and it is only a matter of time before these are available on the high street.

Prints are an extremely important part of fashion this year and they have not been so flamboyant since the '70s hippie revolution. Clean cut shapes with outgoing patterns define the extravagance of summer fashion - it is all about standing out from the crowd. The only rule of this colourful season is to clash your patterns; everything else is up to you. Designers have included every pattern available into their clothing ranges so you are most definitely not short of choice.

One other way of dressing for summer 2012 is to incorporate flirtatious, bold colours into your attire. Bright and sporty neon's have been projected across the media in order to create the perfect look for summer. Combine bright colours with dark and diaphanous attire to master the simple ensemble.

Alternatively, take your fashion taste in the complete opposite directions by dressing in chalky pastel apparel. Sugary and luxurious shades define the ideal subtle outfits for the upcoming summer season. This particular apparel has the characteristics of clean lines and simple shapes so that you can indulge in plainness and layers. There are no rules to this pastel phenomenon as you can take one shade and dress from head-to-toe or go into pastel overload and use many different colours to complete your look.

Finally, the last fashion trend which has been hitting the designer clothing shelves is the boyfriend look. A style that has always been in fashion since Coco Chanel, one of the world's most legendary fashion designers, initiated the look for masculinity within women's fashion. Androgynous pieces are hitting the market and many aspiring fashionistas have been documented sporting such attire. This fashion style is all about getting in touch with your masculine side whilst staying feminine and true to your roots!

Safe and Effective Oven Cleaners

Cleaning the oven is one of the most difficult household chores to accomplish. Many people avoid the task because they do not want to deal with harsh chemical cleaning solutions. Many of the traditional oven cleaners release toxic fumes into the air during the cleaning process. These fumes are harmful to people, pets and the environment. Some oven cleaners are so toxic that people must open up the windows of their home and wear a protective mask in order to protect their health.
Non Toxic Oven Cleaners
People who do not want to use chemical cleaners can select one of the environmentally friendly oven cleaners that are available or concoct their own all-natural cleaning solution. There are several non-toxic oven cleaners that can remove baked on food, grease and grime. These fume free products are perfect for people who are concerned about their health and the environment.
All Natural Cleaning Solution
Baking soda, lemon juice and vinegar are all great all-natural cleaning products. When baking soda is mixed with water, lemon juice or vinegar it becomes a fantastic non-abrasive grease remover. People may have to spend more time scrubbing when cleaning with a baking soda solution but they do not have to worry about toxic fumes.
Oven Cleaning Tips
Whether people are using non-toxic spray products or all-natural oven cleaners, they need to leave the cleaning agent inside of the stove overnight. Although some products are designed to loosen and remove grease in as little as two hours, leaving the cleaning solution on overnight is the best way to deep clean an oven. Some areas of the stove may require plenty of scrubbing action or a second treatment session.
Cleaning the glass window on an oven door is a bit more challenging because people need to be careful that the cleaning solution does not leak in between the two glass panels. If baking soda gets in between the glass, it can leave unsightly white streaks. When using a baking soda mixture to clean the glass window people should carefully apply a small amount of the solution to the area and use a damp towel to remove dirt rather than rinsing with a wet sponge or a spray bottle. The oven door should be opened to a completely flat position to prevent any liquid from leaking in between the glass panels.
Stove Top Cleaning
Stove cleaning is usually an easier process than cleaning the inside of an oven. There is a variety of excellent stove cleaning products on the market and in most cases; a mixture of baking soda and water is enough to remove grease and grime. People can keep the burners of their stove cleaner in between cleanings by placing tinfoil underneath each of the burners.
Non toxic oven cleaners can be purchased at hardware stores or online. Shoppers can find great deals on environmentally friendly products on the Internet. People can find all of the ingredients they need for all-natural oven cleaners at their local grocery store.

5 Myths On Razor Bumps Solutions

When speaking to my family, friends and co-workers some the myths surrounding razor bumps amazed me.
Razor bumps aka pseudofolliculitis barbae is a condition that effects 80% of black men, according to Skin Sight. It is caused by shaving and the regrowth of thick curly and sharp hair growing back into skin. It causes bacteria filled-pustules to form around the neck and jaw-line.
Here are some of the common myths:
1. Contagion
Despite its unsightly appearance this condition is not passed through skin or close contact. The bumps can be touched. The actual bacterial infection sits just under the epidermis of the skin. Stroke, touch and fondle as touching the area can cause no harm.
2. Men Only
There is a misconception that razor bumps only afflict me. This is untrue as hair growth or in this case ingrown hair growth applies to both genders. Some may argue women could be silent sufferers of this condition as society places heavier emphasis on them to be less hirsute. So hair removal on women whether its through tweezer pluckage or depilatories can also induce ingrown hairs and lead to razor bumps.
3. Just the beard area right?
No. Anywhere the body is shaved can allow the hair to curl back into the skin. Razor bumps can occur on underarms, genital areas, inner thigh region, upper torso and eye brows.
4. Shave More Frequently
This is a fave just because of how illogical it is. The thinking goes along the lines that shaving more frequently will reduce hair growth. In reality what happens is that the shaft of the hair follicle gets stronger whilst the skin becomes drier and more irritated.
5. Its A Black Thing Right
Knowledge is power and whilst it its true that PB effects significant numbers of black men. It also effects white people with this curly curly and children from interracial relationships where one or both of the partners have African or Caribbean heritage.
I hope that this article has helped to clarify that whilst the term razor bumps is used in our common language, its meaning and who is effects is opaque. Getting the right balance between public information and scientific would help raise awareness of the condition, particularly to aid the next generation of young adults when they start experimenting with adult grooming products. Bear that how you approach your first shave could have a positive or detrimental effect on the next fifty or sixty years of shaving.

Choosing A Winter Hiking Boot

As the temperature starts to drop, avoid the risk of cabin fever by getting outside for some winter hikes. When you're well-prepared to tackle cold conditions, hiking in the winter fills your ordinary trails with new opportunities to enjoy spectacular, snow-filled views.

Of course, nothing spoils a beautiful hike faster than numb toes or falling from snow and ice. Avoid these disastrous outdoor fates by planning ahead and selecting the proper footwear for your winter outings. Choosing the best hiking boots for winter weather might seem like a challenge, but if you follow these tips you'll have no trouble picking out a great match for your needs. Don't forget to pair your boot with wool socks, and you're good to go for the season.

When considering your options, make sure you look for added insulation without too much bulk, a rugged outsole for handling any icy terrain and waterproof features to keep feet dry in the snow. Most quality boots share high-tech features designed to challenge the elements. To help you find the best winter boot, here's a breakdown of the top features you'll want to look for:

Insulation

A boot's insulation is measured in grams, and the higher the number, the warmer the boot. Some boots use Thinsulate, which is a form of insulation that keeps feet dry and warm without adding bulk or weight.

Outsole

If you'll be navigating icy terrains, a rugged outsole is key. Rubber outsoles will grip to slippery surfaces and help maintain footing on the wintry trails. And you can't go wrong with Vibram soles.

Waterproofing

When you're trekking through the snow, it's important that no moisture seeps through to your socks. Find a boot that has a waterproof feature like Gore-Tex lining or nubuck leather to keep toes dry.

A few good brands to try:

Hi-Tec creates winter-friendly footwear that includes the Altitude Snow, with 200 grams of Thinsulate insulation and a nubuck leather construction to keep feet warm and dry on your hike. A compression-molded EVA midsole comforts feet for the long haul, and the boot boasts a hardcore winter-lugged rubber outsole. The Altitude Snow also has an affordable price point, which is a nice bonus.

During second phase, this newbie will appear in news papers, fashion magazines, TV and internet. At last, the trend will be soaked in the market, commonly at bit lower cost.
In the second phase new merchandise is available in bit expensive designer collections. It is only the third phase, where the merchandise is available to the mass market at affordable cost for most buyers.
